Sorority Food Service

We currently manage food service for nine (9) WVU fraternities and sororities. In addition to cooking and serving the meals, we offer service in the following areas to assure our Greek residents a high quality, reliable, and a valued food service program.

Menu planning

Our goal is to serve meals that residents enjoy, that fill their appetites and that offer them variety and a balanced and nutritious diet. Menus are posted in the dining room and available on line on Wednesday for the upcoming week.

Personnel

All workers are employed by Full Bowl Catering, covered by workman's compensation insurance, hold a minimum of a Mon County Health department food handlers card. We use no outside contractors. We staff for in house cooks and food distribution workers, as well as a team of substitute (fill-in) cooks. Our employees are trained in the safe operating of all kitchen equipment as well as the safe handling and storage of food.

Purchasing and distribution of food supplies.

We purchase only from the very best food purveyors serving Morgantown such as Sysco, Reinhart, GFS, PA Macaroni Company, Cellones Bakery, Schneiders Dairy and Fredericktown Produce. All food is delivered to our food service headquarters operation located in the lower level of 616 Richwood Avenue, a short distance from WVU’s downtown campus. Food deliveries are then sorted, portioned and staged for redelivery to the various kitchens once per week. This just in time inventory system assures you, our food service customer, only the freshest foods.

Kitchen facilities management

Managing a food service kitchen means more than just cooking. We monitor kitchen and dining room supplies, make recommendations as to quantities and need, and prepare a quotation for the review and approval of house management.
